I’ve been looking for a new job for a while now, as my current job don’t seem to want me and haven’t asked me to work for almost two months (it’s a small cafe)
I have been invited to an interview at Sports Direct, and I’m so happy that finally someone has got back to me.
But do they pay well? I get payed £4.50 an hour at the cafe and usually do 4-6 hour shift, so I get around £20 per shift.
How long are Sports Direct shifts and what do they pay a 17 year old??
by Stryder: Its minimun wage, so 3.86 per hour for youWhen you turn 18, its 4.98 per hourIts casual work, so its usually is 4 hours a shift but do well you will be gtting 9 hour shift by the end of the month, 1 week you could work 10 pers per week, the following week 40 hours per weekThey work on a you work the most when they need you, so if youve done well, and they have the budget and its expected to be busy (big sale for example) youl get good hours but if they not gona be busy and your gona gwtting to grip with things, it could be as little as 4 hours per weekIts just the way they workAnd yes i know this for a fact
